Good etiquette on the Golf Course

Play Safely

• Wait - wait for players ahead to be out or your range before you take your shot
• Call "Fore" - call “fore” loudly if your ball may be heading towards other players

Keep pace

• Keep up - try to always keep up with the group ahead of yours
• Be "Ready" - move briskly between strokes and between holes and try to be ready to play your shot when it's your turn
• Lost ball - maximum of 3 minutes to search for a lost ball
• Provisional ball - if you think your ball may be lost, play a provisional ball immediately
• Scoring - move away from the green before scoring 

Look after our Courses

• Repair divots - repair fairway and tee divots
• Pitch marks -  repair pitch marks on greens
• Rake Bunkers - leave the bunkers playable for other players

Be respectful

• Be quiet - be quiet and still when others are playing their shots
• Respect - do not applaud a competitor’s misplay
• Mobile Phones - please silence or turn off your mobile

Be considerate on the Greens

• Careful where you walk - do not walk between another player's ball and the hole 
• Avoid putting line - do not stand beyond or behind the line of another player’s putt
• Shadows - watch that your shadow does not distract another player
