Les wanted to make a slight addition to his report.
Chris Evans has been treasurer of the Association for many years, and a delegate to NSWVGA for a number of years. He has given incredible service to Veterans Golf, and was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation from NSWVGA.
In response, Chris said it had been a privilege to work with the WSRVGA Executive team for the last eleven years. He commented on the incredible growth of Vets golf in Western Sydney. This was due to the participation of the clubs, a strong Executive team, and particularly to the leadership of President Les Knox.
Les has given great guidance which contributed greatly to the success of the State Strokeplay Championship over the last seven years.
He thought that Western Sydney was seen as a role model for running an Association especially as each club is able to run their own competitions, according to their situation.
